WP2 Energy sector diagnosis

The developed deliverable of this work package is “D 2.1 Energy Diagnosis of European Printing Industry”, includingthe next contents: Diagnosis document based on 5 EU countries, best practices in energy management within the industry in Europe, barriers in energy management within the industry in Europe DL2.1_Energy Diagnosis of European Printing Industry_Final

 

WP3 Parameterization; setting up of specific energy Printing Industry Indicators

The consortium have developed both types of indicators (General and Specific indicators) to facilitate the Energy Management System implementation in a systematic way and targets and benchmarking results in the Energy Management System for the printing industry. The information has been collected in a unique deliverable “Deliverable D3.1-3.2-3.3 Guide of General and Specific Indicators, Targets.

 

WP4. Printing Industry Adapted Energy Management Standard Development

An adapted Energy Management System for the printing industry will be implemented in 100 SMEs with the help of consultants/Energy Managers to enhance the awareness of industrial associations and SMEs in the European Printing Industry by introducing different materials, awareness tools, benchmark tools for assessment, and a EMS Standard manual for the Printing Industry in EU.

 

WP5. Specific Guidelines Development

The Standard materials and implementation process has been established in the previous Work Packages but the consultant team aims to develop in this WP information and tools to maximize the benefits associated to the implementation of the Standard including strategic and operational criteria (green marketing techniques, KPI environmental indicators, quality control and analysis of ESCOs’ involvement potential).

 

WP6. Implementation of Adapted Energy Management Standard

WP7. Project Validation

Feedback loops with the target actors outside the consortium will be introduced to strengthen the work programme in WP3, WP4 and WP5 to ensure an external quality review of the guidelines, manuals and spread sheet before their implementation in the subsequent work packages. The EMS standard developed will be assessed in terms of adequacy to the actual reality of the European printing industry and on the other hand indicators will be analysed too, both General and Specific indicators developed in WP2 and IEE Performance Indicators.
